As you, our dear clients, know, we decided to close our company when the war started. Since the beginning of the war, we were doing our best to help Ukrainian refugees as well as our dear suppliers in Ukraine. As certain places in Ukraine remain calm for now, they decided to return to work. That’s why we decided to reopen and support them in this way as well.

As you know, our hair was collected in Russia and Ukraine. We think it is important to be transparent in this situation. We decided to end our cooperation with Russian suppliers, as we can’t continue collecting and importing hair extensions from Russia with clear consciousness.

Since we were building our brand on transparency about where we source our hair, we felt as important to make this clear. This, of course, doesn’t change anything about the quality of the hair we are selling.

If you get a hold of Virgin Slavic hair extensions, it means that the hair extensions were not chemically processed or treated, and neither were the hair extensions colored by our supplier or by the donor. Cuticles are intact and running in the same direction, which you might know as the term Remy hair extensions.

When we are talking about hair extensions being chemically treated, what we mean is for example acid baths,  which destroy the cuticles. Removing the cuticles will create lifeless and tangled hair. Another way of chemically treating hair extensions is coating them in silicone.
